American citizen Rexal Ford (46) was arrested on the island of Skiathos in Greece on suspicion of killing his baby and hiding the body of the baby’s mother in Rome. The bodies of the newborn and the mother were found on June 7 in Villa Pamphili park in Rome. Police released footage of Ford’s arrest on June 13. The investigation is ongoing, and the motive and cause of death are still unclear. Ford was arrested following a tip-off and identified thanks to tattoos found on the woman’s body. He may be extradited to Italy, but there is a possibility that the US will retain him if they request extradition. The couple was seen together with the baby in Rome a few days before the bodies were found. The investigation continues.
