Storm Chaos in Serbia: Injuries and Roofs Falling Everywhere!
Brace yourselves, Serbia is under attack again! At least six people were injured during a violent storm that hit Belgrade and its surroundings. Yes, you read that right – six people ended up in hospitals due to falling roofs and trees!
In Surčin, a 25-year-old man was seriously injured when part of a roof collapsed on him. Emergency services rushed him to the Clinical Hospital Center Zemun. But that’s not all – in New Belgrade, on Jurija Gagarina street, two women aged 31 and 73 were also injured due to a falling metal roof.
At Slavija, a 46-year-old woman was hurt when a metal sheet fell on her, while in Semberska street, a 69-year-old man suffered minor injuries from a falling roof. In a refugee camp near Pančevački put, a tree fell on a building, injuring a 59-year-old woman who was taken to the emergency center.
Meteorologists from RHMZ forecasted mostly cloudy and windy weather, with strong northwest winds reaching storm force in the east of the country. Temperatures ranged from 13 to 23 degrees Celsius, quite chilly for this time of year.
The weather is expected to gradually improve, but short showers and thunderstorms are still on the horizon in the coming days.
This isn’t just rain – it’s pure chaos! Roofs are falling, trees are crashing down, and people are ending up in hospitals. Is this climate change or just bad luck? Either way, nature isn’t holding back.
If you thought this was the end, think again. Meteorologists warn of possible new storms and supercell thunderstorms that could hit us soon. So keep your umbrellas and helmets handy!
While we battle this weather madness, ask yourself – is our infrastructure ready for these challenges? How many more people need to get hurt before something changes?
Meanwhile, if you have any hilarious or scary stories about this storm, feel free to share. Maybe you’ll make us all laugh or warn us about more dangers. Remember, nature is powerful, but so is our voice!
