Peter Sorensen is likely the new EU Serbia-Kosovo envoy.

Peter Sorensen, a Danish diplomat, is likely to be appointed as the new EU Special Representative for the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo. EU ambassadors will discuss his appointment on January 21st. Sorensen is expected to take on the role from February 1st, as the current envoy Miroslav Lajčák’s mandate expires on January 31st. Sorensen has extensive diplomatic experience within European structures and is currently a senior advisor in the EU’s External Action Service.
