The Polish chain “Merkury Market” is entering the Serbian retail market, offering over 30,000 products for home decoration and building materials. After acquiring the “Emmezeta” chain, the “Merkury Group” is expanding its operations in Serbia. “Merkury Group” was founded in 1991 and operates in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Croatia. The headquarters have not commented on the entry into the Serbian market, and two more Polish chains are planning to enter Serbia in the next two years.
