Scientists have discovered a new species of leech named Dina crnogorensis in the forest springs of the Komovi area in Montenegro. This species is one of the rarest in Montenegro’s fauna and has a unique life cycle. The research was conducted using an integrative taxonomic approach combining morphological analysis and DNA barcoding.
