Niš was a scene of chaos yesterday! An 11-year-old girl suffered a serious head injury when a cyclist hit and knocked her down near the City Hall around 5:50 PM. Emergency services responded immediately, and the girl was taken to neurosurgery. But that’s not all – just a few hours later, around 7 PM, three teenagers – two 19-year-old boys and a 17-year-old girl – were injured in a car crash near the Todor tavern. All were taken to orthopedics. The emergency services were swamped with calls – about 1,200 in the last 24 hours, with 47 adults and 15 children examined. The most common reasons for calls were hypertension, headaches, dizziness, and fevers due to infections, while children mostly suffered injuries at home. The drop in temperature didn’t ease the pressure on emergency teams. Clearly, Niš is in chaos, and citizens are asking – how much longer? Traffic is a mess, streets are full of accidents and injured people. Who will finally take responsibility and stop this madness? Got similar stories or think it’s time for change?
