The NIS company continues its corporate social responsibility program ‘Community Together,’ which this year begins its 17th cycle. The program focuses on supporting children by financing public interest projects in healthcare, education, social protection, culture, and sports. This year, NIS will invest 25 million dinars in projects across 13 cities and municipalities in Serbia. The competition is open from June 18 to September 12, with results to be announced in October. So far, over 1,000 projects have been supported through this program, with nearly 1.9 billion dinars invested, contributing to improved working conditions in educational and healthcare institutions, as well as the development of play and sports areas for children.
Political Perspectives:
Left: Left-leaning outlets emphasize the social responsibility aspect of the NIS program, highlighting its role in supporting vulnerable children and communities. They focus on the positive social impact, the inclusivity of the program, and the importance of corporate contributions to public welfare and social equity.
Center: Centrist sources report the facts of the program straightforwardly, focusing on the scale of investment, the number of projects supported, and the administrative details such as the application period and the cities involved. They present the program as a positive example of corporate social responsibility without strong ideological framing.
Right: Right-leaning media may highlight the program as a demonstration of successful cooperation between private companies and local communities, emphasizing national development and the role of domestic companies in supporting Serbian children and families. They may also stress the importance of local governance and community involvement in the program.
