Norway supports UNRWA with $23.4M despite Israel’s ban.

Norway has decided to support the UNRWA agency with 275 million Norwegian kroner, despite its operation being banned by Israel. Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Bart Eide emphasized the importance of support due to the difficult situation in Gaza. The Israeli parliament banned UNRWA due to its association with Hamas, and the ban came into effect today, resulting in the closure of its headquarters in East Jerusalem.
