The Republic Election Commission has published the official results of the local elections in Kosjerić and Zaječar. In Kosjerić, the list ‘We Won’t Give Up Serbia – Aleksandar Vučić’ received the most votes with 49.23% and 14 mandates, while the list ‘United for Kosjerić’ received 48.54% and 13 mandates. The Russian party did not pass the threshold. In Zaječar, the Serbian Progressive Party won with 14 mandates, the second was the list ‘Change We Believe In’ with 10 mandates, and the third was ‘United for the Salvation of Zaječar’ with 2 mandates. The opposition in Kosjerić is demanding a verification of every ballot and a recount.
