OnePlus Watch 3 and Buds 4: Tech Hit or Just Another Overpriced Gadget?

OnePlus Watch 3 and Buds 4: Tech Hit or Just Another Overpriced Gadget?

New Gadgets on the Block

OnePlus has launched its new smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch 3, in a smaller 43 mm version, along with the new wireless earbuds, OnePlus Buds 4. If the original 46 mm watch was too big for you, here’s a chance to try the smaller model with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display and 60 Hz refresh rate. The watch is lightweight — just 36.8 grams, a significant drop from the previous 49.7 grams.

Design and Performance

The watch features a stainless steel case with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. New straps come in various lengths, and the watch supports Bluetooth, WiFi, and LTE connectivity. Powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip, it has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The battery capacity allows up to 60 hours of use, which is impressive for a smartwatch.

OnePlus Buds 4 – Sound That Promises

The new earbuds come with dual drivers — an 11 mm woofer and a 6 mm tweeter, promising better sound quality. Collaboration with the Golden Sound team brings the Sound Master EQ feature for personalized sound tuning. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) reduces noise by up to 55 dB, and LHDC 5.0 support enables high-resolution audio and 3D spatial sound.

Battery Life and Availability

The earbuds offer up to 11 hours of battery life with ANC on, and up to 45 hours total with the charging case. OnePlus Buds 4 are available in green and gray colors, priced in the premium segment.

Is It Worth It?

OnePlus aims to combine minimalist design with powerful performance, but the question remains: are these gadgets worth their price? The watch and earbuds are available on the official webshop and selected partners, but will users be thrilled or will these be another set of gadgets that end up forgotten in a drawer?

Conclusion

If you’re a OnePlus fan or looking for new gadgets with solid specs, the Watch 3 and Buds 4 are definitely worth considering. But if you’re on a budget or want the best value for money, it might be better to wait for reviews and compare with competitors.
