Hellish Heatwave Incoming: Brace Yourself for 38 Degrees!

Get ready, because this summer is no joke! Amateur meteorologists and experts from RHMZ are forecasting a real hell on the thermometers. Starting mid-July, around the 17th, a brief cool-down with showers and temperatures dropping to a pleasant 28 degrees Celsius is expected. But don’t be fooled — this is just a breather before the real heatwave hits after July 20th.

Yes, you read that right! A serious heatwave with temperatures soaring up to a scorching 38 degrees Celsius! This means cities and towns across Serbia will be under unbearable heat pressure, and nights won’t bring much relief as morning temperatures will range between 11 and 18 degrees, still quite warm for resting.

According to forecasts, the coming days will be mostly sunny and warm, with daytime temperatures between 27 and 32 degrees. However, from July 15th, expect variable and muggy weather with local showers and thunderstorms. Around July 17th, besides the cool-down, there will be passing clouds with rain and thunderstorms, but it won’t last long.

After a short period of stabilization, starting July 20th, the real heatwave will hit with temperatures reaching up to 38 degrees, which is dangerous for health, especially for the elderly and children. Amateur meteorologist Marko Čubrilo warns that this wave will be stronger than the previous one, so it’s time for everyone to get serious about preparation.

And don’t forget, around July 24th, another cool-down with rain and thunderstorms is possible, but it won’t significantly lower the still high temperatures.

So, if you thought summer 2024 would be mild, think again! Brace yourself for a hellish 38 degrees, drink plenty of water, avoid going out during the hottest part of the day, and don’t forget to joke about this heat — because what else can we do but sweat and laugh? If you have your own tricks to survive the heat, share them in the comments, maybe your advice will save someone from heatstroke!
