The President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, has requested an urgent session of the UN Security Council due to the Israeli military operation in the West Bank. Abbas stated that it is a “continuous Israeli aggression” against Palestinians, especially in the cities of Jenin, Tulkarem, Tamun, and Tubas. He also called on the United States to intervene and stop the Israeli operations.
