Peskov on Belgrade Blockades: Colored Revolutions and Street Chaos

Belgrade is in chaos, and Moscow has a conspiracy theory straight out of a Hollywood script! Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian president, openly claims that the blockades in Belgrade – yes, you read that right – are part of a plan to trigger colored revolutions! Is Serbia the next target in the great powers’ game? As streets fill with containers and blockades, Peskov says Moscow believes the Serbian leadership will soon restore order and peace. But wait, there’s more! Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, adds that the West usually loves to meddle in other countries’ internal affairs and hopes this time they will show restraint.

Meanwhile, Belgrade’s streets were blocked, intersections occupied by containers, and traffic was in total gridlock. People sat on the streets, and the jams were massive. Police are equipped with cameras and ready to respond to violence, but the question is how long this will last. Opposition leaders and analysts call this an “usurpation” and say it’s high time for intervention.

Šešelj and other commentators draw parallels to October 5th but claim today’s blockers are different – allegedly paid off and with hidden agendas. As the battle for control of the streets rages in Belgrade, ordinary citizens wonder: how much longer? Inflation, uprisings, and internal conflicts threaten to topple the regime from within, and the blockades are just the tip of the iceberg.

If you think this is just a local problem, think again. Russia and the West are playing their games, and Serbia is caught in the crossfire. Will the situation calm down or spiral into even bigger chaos? While we wait, maybe it’s time for you to share your thoughts – are the blockades in Belgrade truly a “colored revolution” or just a civic protest? Drop a comment, let the people’s voice be heard!
