POLITICAL WAR ON THE IBAR BRIDGE: Petković Exposes Kurti’s Dirty Games!
Did you know that Pristina plans to build two new bridges on the Ibar River, but not for traffic or development? The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković, claims this decision is deeply political and anti-Serb!
What’s going on?
The Serbian List launched a petition against the construction of the bridges, and support is huge – thousands of citizens have already signed! Why? Because these bridges are not meant to connect people but to open space for “Albanian extremist hordes” to invade northern Kosovo and Metohija.
Why is Kurti building bridges?
Petković lists three main reasons:
- Continuation of pressure and expulsion of Serbs from northern Kosovo.
- Campaign for local elections in Kosovo.
- An attempt to mask the institutional crisis in Pristina, where Kurti lacks a parliamentary majority.
Violation of agreements and security risks
Kurti is directly violating the 2011 agreements regulating the operation of the main Ibar bridge and security around it. By building new bridges against the will of the Serbs, he sends a clear message: “Serbs have no rights to this area!”
Reaction of Serbs and the international community
The petition will be sent to the international community, including the Quint, EU, UNMIK, EULEX, and KFOR, demanding to stop Kurti’s “terror.” KFOR has been guarding the Ibar bridge for years, and Petković hopes they will continue to prevent the opening of new bridges that could be sources of new incidents and attacks.
What do you think?
Is this just another political trick or a real threat to the security of Serbs in Kosovo? Can the international community really stop these plans? Or will Kurti continue to build bridges as bridges to expel Serbs?
Share your thoughts because this is not just a story about bridges – it’s a story about the survival of a people!
And yes, if you thought bridges are just for crossing rivers, you’re wrong – these bridges are bridges of conflict and politics!
