Petković: Pristina Conducting Ethnic Cleansing of Serbs in Kosovo

Pristina has been ignoring the formation of the Community of Serbian Municipalities for a full 12 years, a key demand of the Serbian community in Kosovo. Petar Petković, director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, sharply condemned Pristina for a policy that, he claims, amounts to ethnic cleansing of Serbs from Kosovo. Instead of dialogue and compromise, Pristina resorts to force, unilateral moves, and provocations, deepening conflicts and threatening peace in the region. According to Petković, this policy aims to expel the Serbian population and complete the ethnic cleansing in Kosovo and Metohija.

For Serbs in Kosovo, the Community of Serbian Municipalities is not just an administrative issue but a matter of survival and security. They have been waiting for it for 12 years, while Pristina refuses to fulfill its obligations under the Brussels Agreement. This attitude towards the Serbian community raises justified concerns and fears of further deterioration.

This tension comes at a time when the region faces numerous challenges, and the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is on shaky ground. Petković calls on the international community to pressure Pristina to fulfill its obligations and stop the policy of force and ethnic cleansing. Without this, peace and stability in the Balkans remain seriously threatened.

If you think this is just another political story, think again. This is a matter of life and survival for thousands of people. And while Pristina continues its provocations, Serbs in Kosovo remain in uncertainty and fear. How will this end? Will the international community finally stand for justice, or will it stay silent as history repeats itself? Take a look at this drama and ask yourself — is this politics or ethnic cleansing? And hey, if you have a take on this, share it — maybe your voice can change the course of events!
