The Play Safra at KIC on June 5

The play “Safra” is an original project by actresses Milica Šćepanović and Marija Labudović, based on the text “More Important Halves” by Beatrice Kurbel and Mirna Rustemović. The play will be performed on June 5 at the Cultural Information Center (KIC) in Podgorica. The story follows two friends who, after a long break in their friendship, decide to meet every Wednesday to share their experiences about friendship, love, career, childhood, and motherhood, using an ironic and satirical approach to highlight societal issues. Tickets are priced at 5 euros.

Political Perspectives:

Left: Left-leaning sources emphasize the play’s focus on female friendship, emotional honesty, and social critique, highlighting its satirical approach to societal problems such as gender roles and motherhood. They appreciate the artistic expression and the empowerment of women’s voices in the arts.

Center: Center-leaning sources report the event factually, focusing on the details of the play, its creators, and the performance schedule. They highlight the cultural significance of the play and its contribution to the local arts scene without strong political framing.

Right: Right-leaning sources may focus on the traditional values reflected in the play, such as friendship and family, while possibly downplaying the social critique or satire. They might emphasize the cultural heritage and the importance of supporting national arts and artists.
