The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, announced that the resignation of the government and its president, Miloš Vučević, will be acknowledged around February 17th. The 30-day deadlines for forming a new government or calling elections will begin then. If a new government is not formed by March 19th or 20th, elections will likely be held at the beginning of May. Vučić emphasized the importance of forming a good government due to economic reasons and international events such as the Expo exhibition.
