Get ready, tennis fans! From July 21 to 27, Podgorica turns into the heart of European tennis. The Podgorica Open, part of the European Tennis Association calendar, is about to start, organized by the Tennis Federation of Montenegro and the Tennis Club EENT.
This event brings together a whopping 70 players from 24 countries around the world! Yes, you read that right — 24 countries and 70 competitors! Among them, 15 Montenegrin players will have the chance to defend their home turf.
On the women’s side, the lineup is impressive: Iva Sara Camaj, Lena Bratić, Anja Drekalović, Ljubica Čelebić, Staša Globarević, Martina Karadžić, Jana Pešić, Sofia Popović, and Maša Prijović. The men’s competition features Savo Ivanišević, Luka Lukovac, Aleksa Milić, Matija Nikić, and Pavle Vukosavljević.
