Podgorica on the Brink of Chaos: Klikovac Exposes Government Arrogance and Historical Revisionism

The capital of Montenegro, Podgorica, increasingly looks like a city from a nightmare. Mayor Saša Mujović and Prime Minister Spajić stand at a crossroads: either continue to fulfill the blackmail demands of political groups like DFA and DNPA or finally turn towards the European path of development. But it seems easier for them to ignore problems and hide behind demagogy.

Arrogant Management and Party Abuses

Andrija Klikovac, head of the DPS club in the City Assembly, does not mince words. He claims the main problem is irresponsible and arrogant management leading to financial losses in city companies like Čistoća and Vodovod. Directors who cause losses are rewarded with new mandates, while official vehicles are used as gifts. Employees are mostly party cadres, often without any records of work or attendance. Biologists do legal work, metallurgists handle sports, while citizens watch their city decay.

Nepotism and Abuses in FK Budućnost

Decisions related to FK Budućnost are the pinnacle of cynicism and nepotism. At the club’s anniversary celebration, legends stood in the back rows, while unknown faces occupied front seats. All this while Mayor Mujović hides behind demagogy and avoids responsibility.

Financial Chaos and False Figures

Klikovac revealed that the City spent almost 1.5 million euros more than budgeted, and the data in the final account are inaccurate. Contracts for services are used to hire party cadres, family members, and friends without any control or records. DPS plans to file criminal charges for illegal employment and falsification of financial data.

City TV as an Extension of Political Interests

Podgorica City TV is under scrutiny for numerous irregularities. Director Vladimir Otašević faces accusations, and the media union and European Union demand his dismissal. Mayor Mujović does not react because the TV station is considered an extension of political interests, especially portals IN4S and Press.

Botun Collector and Political Blackmail

The construction of the collector in Botun is shrouded in uncertainty. Residents have clearly expressed opposition to the project, and Mayor Mujović and Prime Minister Spajić are caught in political blackmail by DFA and DNPA. DPS proposes involving residents in working groups and project monitoring, but the question remains – will their will be respected?

Velje Brdo – Another Empty Story

The project to build a new settlement in Velje Brdo is another political farce. Presented as a development project, it is actually a vote bait, with a fate similar to promises about highways, crypto destinations, and the Montenegro Works company. DPS warns that this project does not meet the needs of sustainable development of Podgorica and Montenegro.

Security Chaos and Media Pressure

The situation in Montenegro is becoming increasingly dangerous. Attacks on media and opposition politicians are daily, and the government is subordinate to Belgrade. The goal is to intimidate journalists and control information. The security inquiry committee is just a show for the public, while real problems are swept under the rug.

Economic Collapse and Declining Living Standards

DPS’s economic policy has led to the average consumer basket rising above 200 euros, while citizens wonder if they can afford a vacation or will have to work two jobs. More companies are insolvent, debts are rising, and living standards are falling.

Attempt to Erase Anti-Fascist Heritage

Klikovac clearly states that erasing the achievements of July 13 and denying anti-fascism is the primary goal of the government. Equating partisans and Chetniks is an attempt to erase Montenegrin identity and show that Montenegro is not part of modern Europe. Awarding the July 13 prize to Chetnik voivode Mandić, who denies the Montenegrin nation, is a shameful example of glorifying Greater Serbian ideology.

What Next?

DPS in Podgorica plans to continue pointing out abuses and proposing measures to improve citizens’ lives. The goal is a transparent and responsible local administration that listens to citizens’ needs and works on infrastructure projects.

Conclusion

Today, Podgorica is a city in chaos, with an arrogant and irresponsible government that ignores problems, abuses resources, and tries to erase history. If you think this is just another political story, think again. Leave a comment, share your opinion – maybe you know how to pull Podgorica out of this swamp!
