(38) from the Lucani area has been arrested on suspicion of committing a serious crime against public traffic safety. The police acted immediately, conducted an on-site investigation, and the suspect was detained for 48 hours and will be brought before the basic public prosecutor in Novi Sad. This is not just a tragedy for one family, but a wake-up call for all of us! How could this happen on a highway? Is traffic safety in Serbia at its lowest point? The statistics are grim – since the beginning of the year, 30 two-wheeler drivers have died, and problems with vehicle technical inspections are increasing.
