Police in Split Found a Large Heroin Stockpile

Police in Split have completed a criminal investigation against a 55-year-old man on suspicion of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs. During a search of his apartment in Split, 9 grams of heroin were seized. The suspect was handed over to detention authorities with a criminal complaint. A similar case occurred at the Vrgorac border crossing where a 34-year-old woman was arrested with 87.07 grams of heroin hidden in intimate parts of her body. Police continue their efforts to combat smuggling and illegal drug trade in the region.
