Police seek driver who hit and killed policewoman.

The police are searching for the driver who killed police officer S.J. (46) early this morning on Kumodraška Street. Near her body, vehicle parts and a license plate were found, which are being examined. Witnesses state that the victim could have survived if the driver had called for medical help. The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade has been informed and has ordered an autopsy of the body. The search for the driver is ongoing.
