This morning in Novi Sad, a nightmare scene for every student and professor unfolded! Police had to step in and guard the entrances of the Fair where law students were taking exams. Why? Because some “well-meaning” blockaders tried to block the entrances, stopping young people from doing their basic duty – studying and taking exams. Serbia’s Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić didn’t hold back, slamming these blockades as an attempt to turn Serbia into a country where no one can study without the blockaders’ permission. “Reason, learning, and knowledge have won!” Brnabić declared, while SNS leader Miloš Vučević called the blockaders “losers.” Is this the Serbia we want? A country where police must protect students from those who won’t let them take exams? This situation shines a harsh light on our society’s state and the values being promoted. If this is the “better, fairer, and more beautiful Serbia” some dreamed of, it’s time for a serious debate about real priorities and respect for education. What do you think? Is blocking exams a justified fight for rights or just arrogance threatening young people’s future? Drop a comment, let’s see who’s for and who’s against – and whether learning has really become a luxury in Serbia!
