Police in Ruma Found a Pistol and Bullets: Danger in the Neighborhood or Just Another Day in Serbia?

In Ruma, a quiet town in Sremska Mitrovica, the police caused quite a stir in the home of a 37-year-old man. They found a pistol with a magazine and a total of 20 bullets! Yes, you read that right – twenty bullets! And that’s not all – the man will face criminal charges for illegal production, possession, and carrying of weapons.

Imagine this – while most of us worry about everyday problems, in Ruma, there’s hidden weaponry that could cause chaos. Is this just the tip of the iceberg? How many more such cases are lurking in our towns?

The police acted quickly, but the question remains: how much more illegal weaponry is out there, and how much is public safety at risk? Is the state efficient enough in fighting illegal arms, or are we just wasting time?

This case raises many questions about safety and weapon control in Serbia. Will we see more news like this soon, or will something change?

If you have thoughts on this or know something similar, feel free to share – maybe together we can figure out what’s really going on behind closed doors.
