The first preparatory meeting for international participation in the specialized Expo 2027 was held in Belgrade, where delegations from various countries visited the Expo construction site in Surčin. The director of the Expo 2027 company, Dušcaronan Borovčanin, stated that foreign delegations were impressed by the progress of the works, which are mostly initial construction works. During the meeting, delegates received important information that will help them plan their participation in the Expo. The number of participating countries is expected to grow after formal confirmations. The next step is the adoption of the international agreement in Paris on June 17, after which the signing of contracts with participating countries will begin.
