The prosecution will appeal the verdict in the “Ribnikar” case, where maximum sentences were handed down for neglect and abuse of a minor. Chief Prosecutor Nenad Stefanović confirmed that he will appeal the acquittal of Miljana Kecmanović and the sentence length for Vladimir Kecmanović and shooting instructor Nemanja Marinković. Vladimir Kecmanović was sentenced to 14 and a half years in prison, while his wife Miljana was sentenced to three years. Kecmanović’s defense attorney also announced that they would appeal.
