In several cities across Serbia, the “15 Minutes of Silence for 15 Victims” initiative was held as a sign of respect for those who perished in the collapse of the canopy at the Novi Sad Railway Station. Citizens and students blocked intersections in Belgrade, Zemun, and other locations. In Belgrade, protests took place at multiple locations, including Cvetkova Market and in front of the Ministry of Culture. Employees at KBC “Bežanijska Kosa” and professors from Belgrade universities expressed their support for the students. President Vučić called for dialogue regarding the students’ concerns.
