Protesters in Skopje demand stricter penalties for drivers.

Citizens of North Macedonia protested in Skopje over insufficient penalties for drivers who cause accidents. The protest saw significant participation from young people and was organized by the initiative “Who’s Next?” following an incident where a drunk driver ran over a 22-year-old woman, Frosina Kulakov. Demonstrators marched past the Ministry of Justice, the parliament, and the Criminal Court, carrying banners with messages about safety and justice. The initiative emphasizes that this case is not isolated and that similar incidents recur due to a lack of accountability.
