Belgrade Drama That Shocked Everyone!
Have you heard about the lunatic who yesterday in the center of Belgrade stole an Opel Corsa and caused chaos worthy of a Hollywood movie? Yes, you read that right! K.P., a reckless 28-year-old driver, decided to play with people’s lives right in the heart of the city.
It all started around 1:15 PM in Borča when this guy stole the car. But he didn’t stop there — a real cinematic police chase began! Five police cars with sirens blaring chased him through downtown Belgrade as he sped like he was in a Formula 1 race.
At the corner of Takovska and 27 Marta streets, this maniac ran a red light and caused a chain collision involving four cars! Among them were families with children. The crash was so severe that four people were injured — two adults aged 47 and 52, and two children aged 11 and 13.
One girl was even hit on a pedestrian crossing! Witnesses say the car literally threw her off, and she fell in shock. Luckily, passersby and a bartender from a nearby café rushed to help. One of them even lifted the car under which the motionless girl was trapped!
The younger girl suffered a concussion and couldn’t see anything, while the older one lost consciousness. Emergency services arrived quickly and hospitalized the injured. One girl is in serious condition, while the other was released for home treatment.
The reckless driver tried to flee on foot after the crash, but police quickly caught and arrested him.
This incident is yet another proof of how road safety is endangered and how recklessness can lead to tragedy.
