The reconstruction of the case of the disappearance of Danka Ilić was conducted after months of investigation and lasted over eight hours. The Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Zaječar coordinated a complex and detailed simulation of the events of March 26 last year, when the girl disappeared. The reconstruction involved suspects, witnesses, the mother, lawyers, police, and forensic experts. The prosecution suspects that the accused hit Danka with an official vehicle and then hid the body at an unknown location. The indictment was twice annulled, and the appellate court in Niš ordered the investigation to be supplemented, including the reconstruction and re-interrogations. It is expected that all collected data will be processed within two weeks.
