Renovation of the Center for Premature Babies in Kragujevac

In Kragujevac, the center for premature babies within the University Clinical Center has been renovated. Health Minister Dr. Zlatibor Lončar visited the renovated neonatology department and the new angio room, emphasizing that the center is a pride of the city and region. The center serves patients from 13 maternity wards and provides top-level diagnostic and therapeutic care for critically ill premature newborns. The renovation included replacement of electrical installations, gas installations, floors, joinery, and lighting, with an investment value of about 14 million dinars. Expansion of capacity and improvement of conditions are expected for about 1.6 million residents of central and southeastern Serbia.
