Report from the Ministry of the Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure on the accident aboard the ship “Lastovo” in Mali Lošinj, in which three people died and one was seriously injured, indicates the responsibility of the ship’s captain and the company “Jadrolinija”. The investigation determined that safety protocols were violated and that the safety management system was not adequately implemented. It is proposed to initiate proceedings against the responsible individuals. The President of the Jadrolinija Board, David Sopta, expressed that he does not feel personally guilty.
