The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Siniša Karan, met with Laura Lungaroti, the Regional Coordinator of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the Western Balkans. They discussed the ongoing cooperation and confirmed that Republika Srpska controls the issue of illegal migration in accordance with the decisions of the Government of Republika Srpska. Minister Karan emphasized that the Ministry will continue to protect the security of its citizens not only in terms of security but also politically, humanitarily, and culturally.
