Drone Hell in Russia and Ukraine: Three Dead in Udmurtia as Ukraine Shoots Down 117 of 157 Russian Drones!
Welcome to the new level of war drama where drones don’t pick their targets, and the numbers are flying wild! In Udmurtia, a Russian republic, Ukrainian drones wreaked havoc – three people lost their lives, and 35 were hospitalized, with ten in serious condition. Local official Aleksandr Brechalov expressed deep sorrow and confirmed that families of the victims will receive all necessary assistance.
The attack hit a company in the city of Izhevsk, causing fires that firefighters rushed to extinguish. The Izhevsk airport was temporarily closed, and emergency services, including psychologists, were dispatched to the scene.
But while Russia struggles with these strikes, Ukraine is not sitting idle! Overnight, Ukrainian air defense shot down 117 of 157 Russian drones launched at their territory. Russian forces attempted to hit 19 locations, including Kharkiv and Kherson, but the Ukrainians showed their teeth.
In Zaporizhzhia, one person was injured, in Kharkiv a woman and a three-month-old baby were wounded, and in the Kyiv region, three people were injured in a massive drone attack. Russian drones destroyed warehouses, agricultural machinery, buildings, and cars, with fires breaking out in multiple places.
This escalation shows how technologically advanced and bloody the war in Ukraine has become. Drones are now deadly weapons hitting both civilians and infrastructure, with losses on both sides.
Is this the start of a new phase of war where drones decide lives? Or will we soon see even fiercer clashes? Either way, the numbers don’t lie – this war is not calming down, and civilians are paying the highest price.
