Russia Launches Thousands of Deadly Shahed Drones at Ukraine – War Escalates to Madness!

Imagine this: Russia launched a staggering 5,337 Shahed drones at Ukraine in June alone! Yes, you read that right – five thousand three hundred thirty-seven! That’s more than ever before, and all in just one month. The previous record of 4,000 drones in March has been shattered like a house of cards. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on June 24 that Russia launched about 28 Shahed drones that day alone, which is roughly 10% of the total for the entire month. These kamikaze drones, originally Iranian or their Russian copies known as Geran and Harpiya A1, are used for deep strikes and often combined with cruise and ballistic missiles. In June, there were days when the number of drones launched in a single day exceeded the total number launched in an entire month during earlier phases of the war. For example, on June 27, 500 drones were launched, and on June 29, a whopping 600 – marking the largest air attack since the war began. These attacks are deadly – in one of the worst attacks in Kyiv on June 17, 30 people were killed and many more injured. Kids were in the bathroom, and people hid as the drones buzzed overhead. Ukrainian military intelligence says Russia is speeding up production and building new launch sites, with a production capacity of up to 70 drones per day – a huge jump from 21 per day last year. Moscow could soon have between 12 and 15 new launch locations. This escalation means Ukraine barely has a day without drone and missile attacks. The situation is alarming and clearly shows how brutal and deadly the war has become. Think this is the end? Think again – Russia is ready to launch as many drones in one night as it used to in an entire month! Got any thoughts or jokes about this drone apocalypse?
