Russia starts “Intervizija” music contest in Moscow.

The “Intervision” competition is being relaunched in Moscow under the supervision of the Kremlin, following previous editions during the Soviet era. Around 20 countries are expected to participate, and Russia is replacing its participation in the “Eurovision” with this competition after being excluded in 2022. The President of the Organizing Committee is Dmitry Chernyshenko, and the Supervisory Board is headed by Sergey Kiriyenko. The idea for the establishment came from Russia’s Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova, while Mikhail Shvydkoy announced the expected participation.
