Russian Attack on Kremenchuk Refinery and Clashes in Sumy Region

Russian forces conducted a night attack on the Kremenchuk oil refinery, which Moscow claims supplies fuel to the Ukrainian military in the Donbas region. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that missiles launched from sea and air, as well as strike drones, were used, and that the attack was successful. Reuters could not independently verify these claims, and the Ukrainian side has not yet commented. Additionally, the Russian military claims to have taken control of the village of Malynivka in the Donetsk region, while Ukrainian President Zelensky said Ukrainian forces have retaken the village of Andriivka in the Sumy region as part of a broader effort to push back Russian forces. Ukraine claims Russia has amassed around 53,000 troops in the area. Fighting in the Sumy region is intense, with both sides reporting losses and gains on the ground.
