Russian Attacks on Ukraine: Shocking Wave of Drones and Missiles Kill Civilians

In the last 24 hours, at least six civilians have been killed and 30 injured in a new wave of Russian attacks across Ukraine. Russian forces launched dozens of drones, including Iranian combat drones of the Shahed type, as well as four guided missiles of the S-300 and S-400 types. Ukrainian air defense shot down 61 drones, while it is believed that another 47 were used as decoys. This is not just a war; it’s a nightmare for civilians.

The northern Sumy region suffered over 90 attacks on 32 populated areas, with three dead and ten injured. In the Donetsk region, two people were killed and seven injured. The Dnipropetrovsk region reported three injured, while in Zaporizhzhia a 77-year-old woman was wounded. Kherson recorded one death and six injuries in residential neighborhoods and public infrastructure. Kharkiv was hit in nine settlements, with three civilians injured.

These attacks come at a time when Russia continues to reject an unconditional ceasefire and intensifies the use of drones and missiles against Ukrainian civilian infrastructure. The Ukrainian military fights back with all available means — aviation, mobile fire teams, and electronic warfare — but the cost is enormous. This is not just a conflict; it’s a war on civilians, a war that never stops.

While the world watches, civilians die and destruction spreads. Will anyone stop this rage? Or will we just keep counting the dead and wounded as waves of drones and missiles continue? If you have thoughts or just want to vent your anger, you know where to drop a comment. Now is not the time to stay silent.
