Russian Drones Terrorize Ukraine: Skyscraper Hit in Odesa, Married Couple Killed, 14 Injured!

Russian drones and missile attacks keep terrorizing Ukraine!

Nightmare in Odesa: A Russian drone struck a 21-story skyscraper, causing fires on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors. Residents were trapped in their apartments, and emergency services rescued five people, including a small child. Sadly, a married couple was killed in the attack, and at least 14 civilians, including three children, were injured. Odesa, a port city on the Black Sea with about one million inhabitants, has long been a target of Russian attacks, with drone and missile strikes dramatically increasing in May and June.

Another city under fire: Samar in Dnipropetrovsk region

On the same day, at least three people were killed and 14 injured in a Russian missile attack on the city of Samar. This was the second attack on the city in three days. Ukrainian forces shot down 68 missiles and drones launched by Russia overnight, but the damage was already done. Residents live in fear, and the death toll is rising.

Massive attacks and pressure on Ukrainian cities

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, four people were killed and 17 injured in a new wave of Russian airstrikes. Russia is exerting pressure to seize territory while the peace process stagnates. The attacks damaged dozens of educational and medical facilities and targeted passenger trains. Ukrainian armed forces reported that eight missiles and drones were launched overnight, with the main target being the city of Starokostiantyniv in Khmelnytskyi region.

Why is this happening?

Russian drone and missile attacks are part of a broader strategy to break Ukrainian defenses and create chaos among civilians. Odesa and other cities in southern and eastern Ukraine are frequent targets because they are key for territorial control and logistics. As Ukraine tries to defend itself, the number of casualties and destruction grows, with the international community watching with concern.

What’s next?

As the war continues, the question is how long civilians will suffer from these brutal attacks. Will Ukraine’s international allies manage to provide enough weapons and support to stop this aggression? Or will Russian drones keep terrorizing cities and killing innocents?
