Russian Missile Terror on Ukraine: Dozens Dead and Injured in Massive Attacks
Tonight, Ukraine was once again targeted by brutal Russian attacks. The capital Kyiv and the Donetsk region suffered massive missile and drone strikes that claimed lives and left destruction in their wake.
Bloody toll in Kyiv and Donetsk
Preliminary reports indicate that at least two people were killed and 16 injured in attacks on Kyiv. Simultaneously, in the Donetsk region, in the city of Kostyantynivka, three people lost their lives in attacks by Russian occupiers. The attacks were carried out with ballistic missiles and drones, destroying at least 21 houses and significant local infrastructure.
Massive strike lasting hours
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described last night’s attack as a massive, combined terror assault lasting nearly ten hours. Russia launched 18 missiles, including ballistic ones, and used about 30 strike drones of the Shahed type. Kyiv burned under these attacks, with casualties and damage mounting.
Zelensky calls for faster sanctions
President Zelensky made it clear this is an obvious escalation of terror and called for speeding up sanctions against Russia. He emphasized that Russia must feel the consequences of its crimes and that the world must not remain silent in the face of these brutal attacks.
A war that never stops
These attacks are just part of ongoing Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities happening every night. Hundreds of drones and missiles fall on civilian targets, destroying homes and lives of ordinary people. While the world watches, Ukrainians fight for every day of peace and safety.
What’s next?
As the death toll rises and cities burn, the question is how much longer the international community can stay silent. Will sanctions be swift and harsh enough to stop this bloody spree? Or will Russia continue to terrorize Ukraine with impunity?
