While others struggle with final exams, elementary school students from Šabac’s “Nikolaj Velimirović” school brought home a whopping 8 medals from the prestigious Mathematics Olympiad in Singapore! Three gold, three silver, and two bronze medals for our little geniuses who tackled English-language problems for two and a half hours, with knowledge beyond their years! Maksim Šikanić and Milica Stanojević, the only elementary school students on the Serbian team, proved that hard work and support from parents, school, and donors truly pay off. While others complain about schoolwork, these kids are already conquering the world! Is it time we stop underestimating our elementary students and finally give them the attention they deserve?
