Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7: The Thinnest, Most Powerful, and Priciest Foldables Serbia Can Handle

Samsung just dropped a bomb on the foldable phone market with the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 models, and Serbia is not spared from prices that will make you think twice before buying! These phones are not only thinner and lighter than their predecessors but also packed with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, cameras that even pros would envy, and a bunch of AI features promising to make your life easier – or at least more expensive.

Thinner and Lighter, But Not Cheaper

The Galaxy Z Fold7 is now Samsung’s thinnest foldable phone ever – just 8.9 mm when folded and an incredible 4.2 mm when unfolded. For comparison, last year’s model was a chunky 12.1 mm folded and 5.6 mm unfolded. Weight? Only 253 grams, lighter even than the Galaxy S25 Ultra which has just one screen! But don’t be fooled – the price for the top model with 1 TB storage and 16 GB RAM is sky-high, around 300,000 dinars, while base models start at about 230,000 dinars.

A Camera That Will Leave You Speechless

Samsung took the Fold7’s camera seriously. The main 200 MP sensor delivers four times more detail and 44% brighter photos compared to previous models. There’s also a 12 MP ultra-wide and a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The 10 MP selfie camera now has a wider angle, meaning your group selfies will look even better. The Flip7 isn’t slacking either with its 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultra-wide, and 10 MP selfie cam.

Flip7: Small But Mighty

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is the thinnest and most durable Flip yet, just 13.7 mm thick and weighing 183 grams. It boasts the largest external FlexWindow display ever – 4.1 inches, letting you type messages, control music, and use AI assistants without opening the phone. Although it uses an Exynos chip, disappointing some fans expecting Snapdragon, the Flip7 offers impressive performance and a 3700 mAh battery that can last up to 31 hours of video playback.

AI and Software Magic

Both phones run Android 16 with the new One UI 8 interface, specially tailored for foldable screens. AI features are impressive – from real-time translation to generative photo editing and automatic removal of unwanted objects and noise from videos. Samsung even integrated Google AI Assistant, which understands natural language better than ever.

Galaxy Watch8: Smartwatches That Track Your Every Move

Samsung hasn’t forgotten wearables. The new Galaxy Watch8 series offers a slimmer design, better battery life, and AMOLED displays with peak brightness of 1300 nits. The Watch8 Classic features the beloved rotating bezel, and both models are water and dust resistant with IP68 and 5ATM ratings. Prices in Serbia range from about 49,000 to 69,000 dinars.

A Price That Will Make You Think Twice

To sum up – the Galaxy Z Fold7 with 1 TB storage and 16 GB RAM costs around 300,000 dinars, the Flip7 with 256 GB about 180,000 dinars, and the Watch8 watches range from 49,000 to 69,000 dinars. Samsung is clearly targeting the premium segment, and the question is how many average buyers in Serbia are ready to shell out for these tech marvels.

Is It Worth It?

Is it worth paying that much for a phone that folds? Samsung says yes, offering the thinnest, lightest, and most powerful foldable phone yet, with cameras that can compete with the best on the market and AI features that will make your life easier. But with prices reaching up to 300,000 dinars, isn’t this a luxury most of us can only dream of?

If you’ve been thinking about switching to a foldable phone, now’s the time to seriously ask yourself – do you really need a phone that costs half the average salary in Serbia? Or is it better to wait until the technology becomes more affordable? What do you think? Would you drop that kind of cash on a folding phone? Drop a comment, share your thoughts, or just crack a joke about phone prices – we’re here to laugh and argue together!
