Exhibit “Your Mother’s Land” by Sara Apostolović is open.

The exhibition “The Land of Your Mother” by Sara Apostolović will be open from February 4 to 16, 2025, at the Gallery of the Belgrade Youth Center. The exhibition presents a trilogy of video and photographic works that explore the influence of myths, tradition, and history on contemporary artistic identity, drawing on the author’s doctoral work. Through its three parts, “1813,” “Hunt for the Outlaw,” and “Home,” the exhibition deconstructs the myth of the ideal Serbian woman and explores cultural changes in the perception of female identity.
