Schools in Serbia protest by shortening classes to support students.

Some schools in Serbia are halting operations or shortening classes in support of students and expressing dissatisfaction with the agreement on the Special Collective Agreement with the government. The Minister of Education, Slavica Đukić Dejanović, held discussions with school principals in Belgrade about continuing regular classes and models for compensation. A group of students is protesting in Belgrade, and high school seniors in Sombor have announced a five-day blockade. The Independent Union of Education Workers is suspending classes in schools with its membership until further notice, despite the challenges.
