In a joint operation by the police of Serbia and North Macedonia, supported by Europol and Eurojust, an organized crime group was arrested and nearly a million counterfeit euros were seized. During the “Vardar” operation, 12 individuals were apprehended, and machines for producing counterfeit money and various currencies were confiscated.
