Floods in Queensland led to evacuations and one death.

In the floods in northern Queensland, one woman has died, and thousands of people have been evacuated. Residents, especially around Townsville and Ingham, have been warned about the floods and the possibility of crocodile appearances after heavy rainfall. The Premier of Queensland confirmed the death of a woman in Ingham following the overturning of a rescue boat. The Department of Environment has cautioned people to be vigilant due to crocodiles in the floodwaters.
