Sexual Abuse Allegations Against Former Boston University Coach

Alex Cooper, a popular TikToker and host of the podcast Call Her Daddy, has made serious allegations against former Boston University coach Nancy Feldman, claiming she sexually harassed her over three years while playing soccer at the university. Cooper described Feldman commenting on her body and sexual life, physically inappropriate touching, and controlling behavior. Despite reporting the abuse to the sports director, no action was taken. After the release of the documentary Call Her Alex, more women came forward with similar experiences with Feldman. Boston University stated it has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment and a developed support system for students.

Political Perspectives:

Left: Left-leaning outlets emphasize the abuse of power and systemic failure to protect victims, highlighting the courage of Alex Cooper and other women speaking out. They focus on institutional accountability and the need for stronger protections against sexual harassment in sports and universities.

Center: Centrist sources report the facts of the allegations and responses from the university, presenting a balanced view of the situation. They highlight the university’s official stance on zero tolerance and the ongoing investigations, while also covering the personal impact on Cooper and others.

Right: Right-leaning media may focus on the individual responsibility and caution against rushing to judgment without full evidence. They might emphasize the importance of due process and the potential reputational damage to the accused before legal conclusions are reached.
