Ukraine and Russia fight over Kursk for 6 months.

The battle for control of the Kursk region has been ongoing for six months. Ukrainian forces captured part of this area last year, and the Russian military has not yet managed to completely dislodge them, although they have regained most of the territory. Ukraine still controls part of the Kursk region, including the center of Sudzha. President Putin has acknowledged that the situation is difficult, while Ukrainian President Zelensky praises the progress of Ukrainian forces. Both sides report significant losses, and the fighting is intensifying southeast of Sudzha, where Ukrainian forces are attempting to push.
