Spain’s economy grew 3.2% last year, driven by tourism.

The Spanish economy recorded a growth of 3.2% in the past year, accelerating from 2.7% in 2023, according to data from the Spanish National Institute of Statistics. The main drivers of the economy are tourism, hospitality, and public spending, along with a significant influx of labor from abroad. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the economy recorded a quarterly growth of 0.8%, thanks to increased household spending and investments that rose by 2%.
