A speedboat explosion in Zemun last night caused total chaos on the Danube! Two people, a man and a woman, suffered serious burns and were rushed to the Plastic Surgery Clinic. The incident happened around 9:17 PM near the Venice raft, just 30 meters from the shore, where four passengers were on board at the time of the blast. The man, about 40 years old, sustained severe burns, while the woman of the same age had somewhat lighter injuries. Emergency services deployed 24 teams overnight, responding to 19 incidents in public places, including four traffic accidents with minor injuries. There were also multiple interventions involving intoxicated individuals, who were taken to the VMA toxicology department for detox.
